What is a Demo Reel?
A demo reel is a collection or montage of your best performances, so casting directors, agencies, and fellow creatives can see your range and abilities. Think of a reel as a trailer for you and your work. Each reel I make is unique and tells a story. I work to make each reel specific to the desires of the client, bringing their vision to life in whatever format that may be. I make a wide variety of reels, with types listed below. Each film reel I make ranges from about 1.5-2 minutes. Note: I do not film clips for actors.
What's the Process?

Choose Your Demo Reel Type: Let me know what kind of reel you want. (Dramatic Film Reel, Commercial Reel, Comedic Film Reel, Filmmaker Reel, etc.) Demo reel types, prices, and examples can be seen below. We may also discuss any other desires/goals you have for your reel. (Ex: showing a cast-ability, if there is a particular energy desired in the reel, etc.)

Transfer your Footage: The next step is sending over your footage. You can transfer video files or send online links. If you need help obtaining any footage, let me know and we will discuss options and pricing for footage retrieval. Once footage has even received I will review it and if you have not already chosen your demo reel type, we may discuss options that could work based on the available footage you have. Note: I strive to make each reel look as professional as possible, but the quality of the reel is also dependent on the footage available.

Payment: The next step will be payment. Prices are listed below. You will be sent the PDF invoice via email. I primarily use Venmo.

Secure a Client Spot: You will be put in my next available client slot only after the footage has been received, and payment has been sent. Once everything has gone through successfully, I will confirm with you which client slot you have received in my calendar.

The Editing Process: The editing process (and time) will depend greatly on how much footage you have and the footage quality. The longer your clips and the more clips you have the longer the editing process. Color and/or audio correcting any necessary footage will also add time to the editing process. If, during the editing process, you send more footage that was not previously discussed at the beginning of the process then it will be an additional $20 per clip added to the demo reel.

Feedback and Revising: Once it is edited I will send you a link of the first draft and you can give your input on any changes you'd like. I offer up to three drafts of revisions. Due to the amount of clients I work with, a client will have three business days to respond after each draft of revisions. If no response is received in three business days I will begin working with my next client, and I will not resume work on your reel until I am caught up with my other clients (barring extenuating circumstances that are discussed with me beforehand). Once the demo reel has been finalized I will send the file to your email.

Returning Clients & Updates: Returning clients can update their reel for $20 per new added clip, up to 6 clips per transaction. Exclusions apply. If you would like to split a previously made Theatrical Reel into two (a Comedic Film Reel and Dramatic Film Reel), you will be charged for the price of one reel, plus updates for the second.

SIZZLE REEL
$175-$225
A fast-paced, high-energy demo reel made to grab attention and showcase your acting ability in a matter of seconds. Your most visually interesting shots are edited together with quick cuts and music to showcase your brand and make the viewer eager to see more. For experienced actors. About 1 minute in length. (Discount offered for returning clients or when purchased with another film reel)
DANCE REEL
$200
If you are a dancer, this is for you! A compilation of stage performances, competition routines, recorded rehearsals, and dance numbers from musicals! This can also be a helpful reel for choreographers. Generally 2 minutes in length.
MUSICAL PERFOMANCE REEL
$150
For stage actors who sing. Footage from a musical you were in, vocal performance, or simply footage of you singing with a in front of a background. These tend to be a bit longer 2-3 minutes.
VOICE OVER REEL
$150
VO Demo. An essential material for voice actors. VO reels come in many different types, including: Character, Commercial, Audiobook, E-Learning, etc. Exported as a sound file or a video file with coinciding animations. Used for submitting to agencies and casting directors for voice over work. 1.5-2 minutes.
